Franklin PUD Taking Proactive Measures to Protect Customers from COVID-19

Pasco, WA - Recent public health concerns regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) are a top concern for Franklin PUD.  

Franklin PUD is monitoring information from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding COVID-19, and is following federal, state, and local agency recommendations. 

The World Health Organization has declared COVID-19 a pandemic.  However, at this time, the Benton-Franklin Health District (BFHD) reports there are no positive cases in Benton or Franklin counties.  Franklin PUD provides an essential service to our community and will continue to operate as normal until further notice. 

Should Franklin PUD be required to take additional action, Franklin PUD will notify customers promptly and follow the Business Continuity Plan that is in place to ensure services are provided to customers, while still ensuring employees and our community remain safe.

Franklin PUD offers several easy and convenient self-service payment options to pay your bill that can be done while in the comfort of your home, including SmartHub, our online payment system, SmartHub app, the pay-by-phone system, and drop box locations throughout Pasco and Connell.  Visit the Franklin PUD website for a full list of payment options.

Franklin PUD’s drive-thru, will extend operating hours to 8:00am to 5:30pm beginning, Monday, March 16 until Friday, May 1, 2020, to allow for “social distance”.  The drive-thru is located at 1411 W. Clark St.,

At this time, it is recommended customers follow CDC recommendations such as:

·             Stay home when you’re sick
·             Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your sleeve
·             Wash your hands often with soap and water
·             Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
·             Clean frequently touched surfaces and objects
·             Follow social distancing protocols and avoid people who are sick
